「じゅぎょうさんかん」ってなに?
子どもが園や学校に行くようなると「授業参観」があります。
園や学校からおしらせのあった日・時間に行き、
仕事や用事で行いけない時は、参加しなくて大丈夫です。
保護者も参加することもあるので、
懇談会は授業参観のあとに、
授業参観 (jugyo-sankan) is an open class day when parents visit the school to observe
activities and presentations of the kids' class.
The date and time will be announced on "otayori" (handout from the school).
At the School, Parents Need To:
There are some chances when parents are invited to join the activities. In that case, enjoy it with your kids!
Parents' Meeting (kondankai)
懇談会 (kondan-kai), parents' meeting is often held on the same day of the open school day.
It is often held in the classroom.
This is a great opportunity for parents to get to know each other.
Students do not participate in this meeting, and preschools often offer other teachers to look
after the kids during the meeting.

In Parents' Meeting at the beginning of the fiscal year, we will discuss "kakari" (roles and responsibilities
of parents in the chool activities) .
Make sure to take your slipper, ID card for school entry, and other items shown on "otayori".
